DocsFamily is a secure, cross-platform application (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS) designed to help families store, organize, and share important documents with strong encryption and privacy protections.
You must be at least 13 years old to use DocsFamily. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You retain full ownership of all documents, files, and content you upload or store in DocsFamily (“User Content”).
By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license solely to host, store, transmit, and display your User Content as necessary to provide the service (including end-to-end encrypted sharing between family members you authorize).
You agree not to upload any illegal, infringing, or harmful content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for backing up your data.

The App, its design, code, logos, and all related intellectual property belong exclusively to ThinkOutsideTheBox LLC. You receive only a limited, non-transferable license to use DocsFamily for personal and family use during the time you comply with these Terms.
Your privacy is extremely important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy (linked here) which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. All documents benefit from local encryption (AES-256 or equivalent), end-to-end encryption for sharing, and zero-knowledge design where applicable. We never sell or monetize your personal data or documents.
You may stop using DocsFamily at any time by deleting the app and/or your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account, but you retain ownership of your documents (export them before deletion).
DocsFamily is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkOutsideTheBox LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or documents (even if advised of the possibility), except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We strongly recommend that you maintain your own backups of critical documents.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App and/or email. Your continued use after the update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Florida.
